Project Description:

Proposes to demonstrate the feasibility of a single fan multi-stack laboratory exhaust system that reduces annual fan energy by 50%. 

 

Proposed Outcomes: 

§         A prototype system will be fabricated and tested.

 

Anticipated Benefits:

§         Potential to save on average 50% of the fan energy consumed by conventional laboratory exhausts systems.

§         Retrofit payback period of only four years.
