Project Objectives
Test and troubleshoot the fuel feed
and fluidized bed combustion control system to demonstrate:
1) a
generation capacity of 200 kWe
2) optimum
consumption and combustion of fuel at a given rate (500-750# per hour).

Fuel Feed System
1.1 Calibrate
the system for fuel feed rate vs. screw speed & mA settings. Begin at 0 to
750 #/per hour.
1.2 Analyses
of fuel sample (ultimate and proximate analyses)

Design and Program Instrumentation, Controllers
and Computer System Using Soft PLC Approach
2.1 Design
and program system in soft PLC software.
2.2 Generate
curves to show relationships and optimum operating conditions between operating
parameters at various operating conditions.
